Ranked according to their 2019 annual turnovers, the 2020 shows that most of the companies have remained steady over the past 12 months. Overall, there has been a US$7 million year-on-year increase in the global turnover of all the companies on the list, which this year amounts to a staggering US$6.

Beelen Sloopwerken Harderwijk, NetherlandsBeelen Sloopwerken BV is the leading demolition company in the Netherlands, offering a range of specialized services including wrecking and demolition services. The company, which was founded in 2005 in Harderwijk, Netherlands, reported a turnover of $190 million in 2020, a significant increase from $120 million in 2019.
Freimuth Abbruch Bülkau, Germany, Founded in 1965 as a one-man company, Freimuth Abbruch Und Recycling has grown to become one of the largest demolition companies in Europe. Freimuth Abbruch reported a turnover of $178 million in 2020, up from $145 million the previous year – with projects ranging from military to residential and industrial.
Dh Griffin Wrecking Co Greensboro, USADh Griffin Wrecking Co braved the Covid-19 challenges to grow its turnover to $170 million in 2020, up from $155 million in 2019. The company that was founded in 1959 offers a wide range of services, from wrecking to disaster restoration to infrastructure. 10. Af Gruppen Oslo, Norway, Closing the 2021 index of top 10 demolition companies is Af Gruppen, which recorded a turnover of $150 million in 2020, up from $132 million in 2019.
Kadmy Adobe Stock, If Construction & Demolition Recycling magazine’s Top 40 Demolition Contractors in the U.S. list is any indication, the rich got richer in 2019—at least for many of the highest-revenue-producing contractors in the space. This list, which is based off of demolition-related revenue, is compiled every other year through voluntary submissions from the country’s top contractors.
North, Star Group Services remained the top company on our list, growing its revenue from $461. 98 million in 2017 to $575. 70 million in 2019. Brandenburg, which occupied the No. 2 slot in 2017 and 2019, grew revenues from $208 million to $271 million over that two-year span. Penhall, which didn’t submit information for 2017, occupied the third spot on this year’s list with $245.
